They had very little in stock. It's like everything good was picked over. I asked about Birkenstocks and they had none for men in about two kinds from women. things are a little bit expensive at this place but when you can find it on a deal it's great. The people there are awesome so you're going to get good service. I wish they would just work out the pricing.

The Knoxville REI is such a welcoming place. The folks who work in the store are always willing to help get you outside. I've brought in backpacks not purchased from REI and they still helped me with proper fitting. I've taken numerous classes at the store and always learn something valuable for the trail.

Brought my 4 year old and 3 year old into the store to buy new Keens. Was told that babies need masks. In the same city where you can bring maskless kids (12 and under) to jump jam, museums, daycares, etc. Even their pediatrician’s office.

Very helpful and always courteous. The store is staffed appropriately and runs efficiently. I have made several smaller purchases there and rarely find things to be overpriced as one might expect from a large chain store. In some cases it is actually cheaper.
