Kona Boys are the best. Been there several times over the years and have always had a great experience. The staff is super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. (We were helped by Eden yesterday who is amazing.) They clearly love what they do and want you to have a fun, safe time. Highly recommend!

We had great experience! It was nicely organized, we got to the bay early, while it was still cool, avoiding major crowds. Snorkeling was magical, with so many fish. We even spotted a small, white tip shark hiding in the reef. Lunch was provided, and was delicious! Guides were very nice and helpful. Loved it and warmly recommend it!

Nice prices and decent service. Note to newer snorkeling folks. Make sure to try the fit of EVERYTHING. This particular trip I made sure the mask sealed but not the fit of the snorkel. Out in the water I tried and tried to adjust the fit so it was comfortable in my mouth to no avail cutting the experience short. Mind you this was my 5th time snorkeling.

We really enjoyed our kayak and snorkel tour with this operator. Very thoughtful owner and employees, considerate of environment and guests. We purchased our tour/outing online and received clear updates via email; due to inclement weather we got a call and moved our date, all very easy and thoughtful. Day of outing we had a very nice 1 mile kayak paddle out to reef area, lovely snorkel early in the morning before much of the boats arrived with 100 others which was still manageable but definitely a different vibe in the water. They provided some guided narration to the history of the area, a nice lunch/drink, and some photographs taken by the guide. I would highly recommend them as a thoughtful and high quality tour operator and local business.

Used Kona Boys kayaks at both locations - super friendly folks. Second time we had to transport the kayak ourselves - they patiently showed us how to strap it to the rental car and explained how to get to the launching area carefully so we wouldn't get lost.

Did the sea kayak to Captains Cove. Hands down the most amazing activity I’ve done on the Big Island. Graham was a great host and provided us with a very relaxing morning. They are very focused on educating and making sure you have a great time. Make sure to do the morning trip to avoid the massive platoons of commercial snorkeling boats that come later in the day.

This place is awesome. Brock is a super nice guy and everyone there is rad. Very knowledgeable. More concerned about you having a good time than making more money. These guys rock.

You can rent surf and snorkel gear at a number of places in and around Kailua-Kona, but these guys had the nicest equipment available for rent. They were also very cool and very accomodating when it came to when and how to return the gear. We ended up renting from one location and being able to to return the gear in one of their other locations. It made the difference between not snorkeling, and getting the chance to swim with sea turtles. Thanks guys; you made our last day on this beautiful island a special one.
