Three Rivers Rafting & Three Rivers Resort have separate ownership, but work together so guests can have all their needs met. I used both services & would recommend them both, but this review is for Three Rivers Rafting. The Three Rivers owners and crew are the kindest, nicest people you could ever hope to meet. From my first contact on the telephone to my departure, Hunt was sure that every need and concern was met. He is great at touching base throughout the experience to be sure everyone is comfortable & happy (and he's just super nice). The guides are knowledgeable, competent & know the river like the back of their hand. A boat crew is only as good as their guide, & every guide was extremely well versed on the river (again, just super nice people). Rafting can be dangerous, but every safety procedure was followed. Even with a boat full of inexperienced rafters, our guide & scouts did a great job & everyone was safe & secure the entire trip. Lunch was fantastic & even had a vegan option. They also photo document the entire trip & will sell you a memory stick with ALL the photos for a very reasonable price. If you are looking for an adventure & want to support a great local business, Three Rivers Rafting is a great place run by great people!

Best outfitters on the Lochsa!
Rustic but clean. The new owners still have a lot to do but this is a sweet and comfortable way to experience the 3 rivers area.
On March 9, 2020 I headed out for a fishing and rafting adventure on the Selway River. I would stay at an empty 3 Rivers Resort. Guide, Hunt and wife Mira were in contact with me when I arrived at the resort, then met with me at the cabin I rented just as they arranged. After meeting and discussing the next days rafting and fishing trip, they headed home, knowing I was all set. The next day they were early to the resort to ready the raft. Up the river we went, 8 miles up the Selway. After putting in, Hunt described the river and reminded me of hazards he pointed out on the way up. He explained this to me, because my plan was to run/fish the river the next day myself using my 9’, single man cat. We had a great day catching about 20 fish on a wet fly. I also got to gain some experience for the next day. I have to say Hunt worked his tail off getting and keeping me in good spots to catch fish...he is awesome! Next day Hunt shuttled me up river and sent me off. Throughout the day, he checked in on me to make sure I was ok. It was quite comforting. That evening, he stopped by and visited, again, making sure I was all good. Hunt and Mira of 3 Rivers Rafting are awesome and I look forward to returning to the Selway and Lochsa for rafting, fishing and hanging out with Hunt and Mira...thank you for memories that I will have forever.
Always love visiting Three Rivers. And Craig and Cindy are WONDERFUL!!!!
