We had a WONDERFUL rafting trip with this company this week! My husband and I took our 3 girls ages 9, 8, and 5 and they all had a blast! The water is cold and the views are amazing! Our guide was funny and had lots of good info about the area and Colorado River. We were staying in Breckenridge and this was a quick drive for us and totally worth it. When we return to Colorado we will be booking through this company again for sure!

My husband and I took our three children (9, 7, and 6) on the Upper Colorado trip and they all had a blast! They say it was the best part of our vacation. Allie was a great guide and had lots of great info along the way. We drove up from Silverthorne and it was a quick/easy drive. If you are in the area, I would totally recommend booking with Adventures in Whitewater. Great locally owned company.

Rafting on the Colorado River was a relaxing experience. We had a lot of kids in our group. It might be noted that you have to have a specific size life vest to jump off the higher cliff. The smaller kids were jumping off a shorter cliff. There was supposed to be a natural pool at Radium Hot Springs, but it was determined that it might be inappropriate for kids to visit. The whitewater was mostly class 2 and a pretty easy trip. Our guide Levi was pretty easy going. Some of the other guides were a little more uptight. I guess that could be because of the coronavirus... I would raft with them again.

Do yourself a favor & get out on the water with these guys!!! We had such a great time with Dan at the helm. Not only was he patient with my rusty rafting skills, he was FUN! Dan had stories about the river and those that run through it, and his jokes were almost as good! Back at the boathouse, the staff (Ruth, Dylan, Kyle) were not only professional but super welcoming. You can tell Johnny has a great crew. Not to mention, we learned they are the only LOCALLY owned rafting co-op in town!! Added bonus. 10/10 would raft again with this company.

Kyle, Jeremy, and Levi were all awesome guides. Kyle guided our raft and we had an unforgettable experience. Our daughter is deaf and he knew a little bit of sign language and even let her guide the boat. We did the full day trip and when we stopped for lunch some of the life vests went missing, possibly by the half day crew cleaning up. Luckily Kyle knew someone across the road that has been rafting for years and was able to borrow some so everyone on our raft could continue the trip. If you want a great experience while supporting one of the smaller rafting companies, Adventures In Whitewater is the one.
