Nice quiet Backcountry camp. Fishermen come in and out all times of day but they have all been pleasantly quiet around our camper. The road to the campground is paved the whole way. A major plus in my book! Some of the other Backcountry campgrounds have narrow hilly stoned roads. Facilities are well maintained. Dumpster, vault toilet, and mowing appears to be serviced weekly. Beautiful Bay for kayaking, fishing, and perfect for our small sailboat. Wildlife all around. At night you can hear lots of owls and coyotes. During the day we've seen eagles, osprey, pileated woodpeckers, great blue herons, cormorants, green herons and Prothonotary Warblers. ( Pick up Birds of Land Between the Lakes, a pocket naturalist guide at visitor center.)

Awesome p.ace to camp and fish. Clean outdoors toilets, they clean them everyday.
