One of the main reasons my wife and I moved from Houston to La Grange was to get away from the congestion of big city life while still having access to interesting things to do, including Bistro 108 gourmet dining, Hanks Express Diner, Prause Meat Market (& barbecue), Le Petite Gourmet kitchen store, and the famous Round Antique show. Near the top of that list, however, is the Bugle Boy, a quaint listening room where you can be entertained by top notch singer/songwriters every Friday & Saturday night while enjoying a beer, glass of wine, coffee, or milkshake. Not only is it so much better than a bar (you can actually hear and enjoy the music), but it is run by volunteers of a local not for profit organization that supports schools, veterans, and shut-ins. This is what a small town should be! Thank you Bugle Boy for being such a big part of that.

What a fabulous place to see live music! Saw Chuck Cannon tonight, whom I love and have seen several times, but tonight was so special because the venue rocked! Such a great intimate place to see artists. Wish we lived closer, I would come every weekend. If you get the chance to see anyone here, do it! You will not be disappointed.
