Had a wonderful day celebrating Derby Day. Fabulous entertainment and Drinks during the festivities. The LaGrange Historical Society is near and dear to me as I live in the Historical district if LaGrange. Come visit and learn more about this great community.

This organization is the keeper of local history and holds popular public events and exhibits. If you own a home in La Grange or La Grange Park you need to check their house files - probably a file for every address in both towns, including commercial.

The La Grange Area Historical Society is a highly valuable asset to our community. We were able to find a wealth of information about our house, built in the 1920s, as well as information about the area schools. They are somewhat understaffed with mostly volunteers, but the people that work there are very nice and helpful. It would be amazing if more people could support the Historical Society with donations or with volunteer time. There's so much that could be digitized; paperwork, photos, etc.

Loved being able to view their collection of records on our house!
