Overall, as a first-time rental in Denver, this wasn't a horrible experience, but it wasn't that great either. In the end you have to weigh location, cost, etc. given your budget and needs - here are some pros/cons that might help you in making a decision: Pros: Views of Cherry Creek on the back side of bldg Friendly, fairly quiet tenants Decent neighborhood Parks all around the area Cons: Most all cons of any building this old that hasn't been well maintained Musty smell in halls Water in shower goes from hot to cold abruptly while showering Internet issues Parking lot issues (think they finally fixed that pothole after 2 years) Poor response from building management Janky signs tacked throughout the building make it look even cheaper than it is (signs that say "watch out for homeless people trying to come in" and "be sure to keep the hallway doors closed" - I asked management if they could send emails to residence or just hand out flyers to disperse information, but they didn't seem to mind that the place is littered with these Microsoft Word signs) Laundry items stolen from laundry room Reports of stolen mail in the lobby, but I never had an issue These comments are based on my experience, and I encourage you to investigate on your own, as things may/may not have improved by the time you read this. All-in-all, it's not a bad entry-level place for Denver, but the building is in need of a major overhaul so if you're expecting something nice/modern and in perfect working order you may want to look elsewhere
