Dropped off my bike for them to inspect and felt good about it. Looking forward to see their work on my bike and hope they can bring it back to life!!
Called the shop on the phone to see if they could change out a street tire for me, on a my Rare Suzuki ‘88 GSX 1100 Katana. They we’re able to do it while I had lunch next door at the Brazilian restaurant . Very fair prices, and very outgoing young men with great manners. Something that you don’t see much of in shops anymore. A breath of fresh air nowadays. Keep up the good work!! Dean B.
They literally saved me from sleeping on the street for two or more nights. I was headed home on a Friday night, when my clutch cable broke. Home is about 300 miles away. I was able to check in to a hostel for the night, but if I couldn’t get my bike fixed on Saturday I would be forested to stay in town for the next 2 or 3 nights. The hostel was booked and everything else in San Diego was close to 200 per night and unlike you I am not a one hundred thousandaire. Saturday morning I was the first guy at the shop. The owner myself and some friends called every parts store and shop in town and nobody had the cable. The only one we were able to locate was in Mexico. I couldn’t afford to pay for any room so I was super stressed out on having to sleep on the street. The guys at Lach truly rescued me, one of the guys that works there had his dad go to his house pick up the part from one on his own personal bikes. They had me at their mercy, they could have charged me anything they wanted shy of 400 and I would have gladly paid it, but they didn’t, they charged a normal rate. I got put back on the road and with money in my pocket. I imagine were I would have been without there help…..After what they had done they would have been my shop for life had I moved to San Diego.
Jeff and Tina are awesome. They work some magic in this little shop and do it for a very fair price. I've taken my bike to several other places in San Diego and never really felt like I was being treated right. My partner and I have both had our bikes into Lach Motorsports now and both had excellent experiences. I highly recommend!
This shop is owned by Jeff and Tina and they offer some of the best customer service I have seen at any shop. They are more knowledgeable, have better prices, and would get me in and out faster than other shops I've talked to. I've sent them some tricky work and Jeff takes it in stride. I'm at ease when they are working on my bike, this kind of trust is hard to come by.
Bought a used Honda CBR from them a little more than a month ago. They were very straight forward, very honest and extremely helpful throughout the entire process. The bike is in immaculate condition. I'd recommend anyone looking for a reputable service shop to go see them. Great people and I'm looking forward to doing business with them again.
Once I found Lach Motorsports and the incredible service I get from Jeff and Tina, I no longer use any other motorcycle shop in San Diego. The service is outstanding, the prices can't be beat, and Jeff will always help you out no matter what. As a current Active Duty Military member, I will definitely not go anywhere else for service on my Ducati. Wish I could give 6 stars!
