I've been eating at this place for years and I couldn't ask for a more authentic gourmet Cajun food experience for locals and tourists alike. Saw their food featured on KLFY one day and just had to go back for another fix. Try their sausage platter or the swamp legs, you just can't get any better than that. Great service and very attentive staff as well.

We travel through Lafayette a few times during the years and we were pleasantly surprised with this wonderful new restaurant. The food was wonderful!! We sat at the bar and could not have felt more welcomed. Julie certainly made our evening enjoyable. Everything was fantastic!
The menu was a problem because we basically wanted EVERYTHING. I ended up ordering the fish tacos and a cup of crab bisque. (after Lily described them and made them sound irresistible). My son got a seafood and tasso pasta and a tossed salad. Another pleasant surprise was the bill.
We met with friends at this restaurant for lunch. we heard about this spot from a lot of people. Well, it was a winning. The staff welcomed us with a smile and we felt very good. The meal was fresh and delicious. We enjoyed every moment and we shall absolutely come back again. Recommended.
Probably the best grits I've ever had, jalapeño cheese with an unreal dry-but-creamy texture. I wasn't overly impressed with the service... they gave me a hard time for not wanting to sit at the bar being that I was dining alone, after I had specifically called about available seating 5 minutes earlier. News flash, not everyone wants to sit at the bar. The friend catfish had a very thick and crunchy breading which was awesome, but the fish itself was tasteless and mushy from being frozen. Overall I do recommend this place, next time I would try one of their pot pie style dishes. Pricing was pretty fair, the meal pictured was about 23. Their sweet tea is quite terrible, not worthy of any southern state but I'm sure it would taste great to someone from up north. I'm deducting 1 star for the poor fish quality, mediocre service, and bunk sweet tea.
