This is a great church with even better members. I attended a services some months back and stopped going due to an illness. I let my pride get in the way and did not comunicate or explian my situation to anyone. I basically just stopped going. For some time I felt an emptiness inside and longing to return so I decided to swallow my pride and return. I'm glad I did. When I returned the Pastor and the members really welcomed me back and made me feel comfortable and accepted. I wasn't questioned or made to feel like I had to explain myself. They just opened their hearts and welcomed me back. If you want a Pastor that's humble and really loves the Lord come by and meet Brother James. He is what a leader of a congregation should be. I have not been a member very long but in the short time I've attended services I feel the love for the Lord and compassion the members have for one another. I recommend this church highly. Come by and attend a service you'll understand why I wrote this review. God bless you and hope to see you soon!

Pastor James Craft, and and assistant pastor John Primeaux, Sunday school instructor, you will get the whole Word of God, in depth and practical application, to build yourself up in Christ. There is a Sunday night bible study, and the same for Wednesday nights. There are excellent opportunities for children and teens, both and Sunday school and during the week. I find the people there to be very encouraging and I highly recommend coming to check out Calvary Baptist Church on the Northside of Lafayette.
I Love Calvary!!! Great church to attend!! Very down to earth and it feels like we are one big family!!! I look forward to attending each service !!! I THANK GOD THAT I FOUND THIS CHURCH !!!!!
