Such great value! You get a fantastic guided tour of the area, you get to see whales, and you get food and drinks. What more could you ask for? The staff was super fun and friendly! Highly recommend!

Great value whale watch. We were staying in the Kaanapali area and didn't want to have to drive for a whale watch. Gemini was super convenient and picks you up right on the beach. We saw an insane amount of whales and loved the tour so much that we did it twice. Free drinks, alcohol and food all for 70. 2 hours, family friendly and informative staff.
We purchased a sunset cruise but it turns out it’s not actually an offering as it appears on their website. It’s actually the same thing as the 4:00pm whale watching cruise. I’m not upset because we got to see some great whale action, but the boat had to be back by 6:00 which is about a half hour before the sun actually sets. So be aware that the sunset cruise is not actually a sunset cruise. And unfortunately, they will stick to their 24 hour cancellation policy even though it was a bit deceptive. Had I known it was not a sunset cruise, I would not have booked another whale watching excursion the day before our Gemini outing. Aside from that surprise, it was a nice excursion. As I mentioned, we saw some awesome whale breaches. Every outing will be different in terms of whales but we went in the middle of February. The complimentary food and alcohol was great. I was pleasantly surprised by the variation and quality.
Crew staff are friendly. The boat is not too big so it carry around 20 to 25 people. The check in at the Westin hotel so you need to go to the lobby. Snacks on board, juice, coffee, cinnabon rolls, bagels and cheese. Saw few whales, some baby ones. Most of the time we were looking for whales, I know the crew did their best to show us some whales but my tour was kind quiet. Overall, me and my family enjoyed.
Always a great experience! Clean and friendly crew. Do not miss a chance to sail in Beautiful Maui. The views are amazing! Whales in the winter, dolphins all year! The best way to view a Maui Westside Sunset!
Gemini was absolutely marvelous. First of all, they know what they are doing. We saw a young whale splashing his tail around, and a big one just on the side of the boat. We also saw bottlenose dolphins and false killer whales - which was awesome. However, that’s not why they are getting five stars. We had an accident, my wife passed out at the end of the tour from heat exhaustion. Gemini crew were absolutely the best to handle the situation. They helped us out on the boat, kept a cab waiting at the shore to take us to the urgent care. They even paid the cab themselves. A lady helped us in the shore, she drove with us as the cab driver was unsure where exactly the urgent care was. I don’t remember the name of the crew or the lady who helped us in the shore - but I will forever be grateful for the help they did. The passengers in the boat also very helpful. I would highly recommend Gemini because they have shown how they respond to a crisis, and you want responsible people on your side if things do not go according to plan.
The highlight of our Maui Trip! So worth the money, snorkeling a beautiful reef, a yummy lunch on the boat and finished the trip with watching 13 whales on the way back to the beach. Incredible crew, Incredible experience.
We had an amazing time. We got lucky and found whales and dolphins. The drinks and food were also great. Staff was also very friendly and fun.
