Stellar dive shop — have worked in the industry and can say with certainty their team is top notch. Guides (Parker, Sam, Jules, and Justine) are consummate professionals who themselves are very talented divers. Had excellent experience on the boat (went out three days consecutively). They made sure every guest felt comfortable and fully understood what we were doing. Cannot recommend them enough, if you’re going to Maui dive with Lahaina divers.

Hubby and I did molokini and turtle reef with Lahaina divers. Nick, our dive guide, was very thorough and knowledgeable, he tried to show us many local and rare species which was awesome. The captain tried to show us some whales along the boat ride as it was whale season. Extremely satisfied with the professionalism exhibited by all of the staff and friendliness. Mahalo!
Great staff. Great dive. Not for the faint of heart though, exiting the dive in 10 foot swells made for some excitement. The dive itself was smooth, and we saw several sharks despite being low season.
We went on two 2-tank dives with these guys. Cathedrals 2 and Molokini. Loved both experiences. The diver masters were safe, friendly, and very knowledgeable about local sea life. Also saw dolphins and whales on one of the boat rides (bonus!)
I dove with this shop for 4 days and loved it! The good: friendly experienced staff who know what they are doing. I never felt uncomfortable or neglected. Everyone was warm and welcoming. Great dive locations, snacks, coffee, and sandwiches. I'm giving 5 stars for a reason. Jules (sp?) was an amazing guide and person. The bad: we had some rudeness trying to book over the phone. Photos aren't available in a digital format. A little expensive, but I think it's just Hawaii pricing.
Oftentimes, when I read a review that states the staff are friendly, I overlook that fact, as it's a pretty generic description, but that is exactly what stood out to me on my dives with Lahaina Divers last week. I've been diving with a handful of shops and have more often that not encountered arrogant and rude crew and divemasters. Could it be a symptom of nitrogen narcosis? I am rescue-certified and have more than 100 dives under my weight belt, but 90% of my dives were completed more than a decade ago, and I now dive recreationally only once a year. I'm always nervous to get back in the water and inevitably forget a detail of my kit before I leave the boat, like buckling my chest strap or velcroing in my inflator hose to my BCD! It was very reassuring to dive with a team that seemed to genuinely care about my safety and comfort rather than feel the need mock my mistakes. Brian, Sam, and our captain were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, and really helped me feel at ease and be able to thoroughly enjoy the best dive of my life! I had a great interaction with Parker in the shop as well. When I return to Maui, I will be sure to book with them again and recommend them to all my fellow divers.
Thanks to Nick Sam And Sam for a great morning.We dove the Catherdral II. Nick did a great pre dive briefing to help us prep and reviewed signals he 'd be using to flag cool stuff - that worked well. Boat was clean roomy and well run .
