I had the best time with Zane and Maui Sports Adventures. Zane really helped me progress in foiling. Both in prone surf foiling and wing foiling. I can’t wait to bring my kids next time because I saw how good he was with the other families that were also doing surf camps that week.

I booked with the Schweitzer family since I was looking for a personal experience where I could learn and improve as much as possible within one week. Back from the trip now and happy to say that Maui Sports Adventures far exceeded my expectations and I'm already thinking about when I can come back! I worked with Johnny for the week and he was a great coach for a beginner like me. Super chill guy, patient, was able to zero in on the areas for each lesson that I needed to work on. From where I started at the first lesson to where I ended at the last, it felt like night and day. In terms of the accommodations, the private bungalow next to the house was perfect for I wanted. You can go out and socialize in the main outdoor area of the house when you want, but also use the bungalow for privacy when needing to rest between lessons :) Other than that, the Schweitzers are great people and really make you feel part of the family for the week. Looking forward to coming back!

We had a really good time during our surf camp on Maui. The Schweitzers were very kind, especially the kids were all so nice to go on early morning hikes with us or take us to the beach in the afternoon. The surf lessons were great, especially Shane and Johnny's lessons really helped me to understand the ocean and get up on a board. Thanks so much again :)

I had the opportunity to experience a week long surf retreat with the incredible Schweitzer family. The surfing lessons are awesome and it is just a part of the whole journey. You will be hanging out with the locals, explore beautiful trails, scuba dive on unimaginable spots and much more. You will be inspired by their life style and values. All family members are deeply connected to the ocean, have a strong sense of giving back to the community they live in, and have in their blood an interesting mix of being both professional athletes and artists. #feelingBlessed #mahalo

If you're looking for an experience above and beyond the average - Maui Sports Adventures is it! So much more than a "Typical surf lesson," my family and I learned about the ocean, got a glimpse into modern day Hawaiian culture AND learned a ton about surfing and SUP. We opted for the "Family Day - SUP & Surf" and both Zane and Aloha went the extra mile to not only insure that the kids and my wife caught lots of waves - but also helped elevate my admittedly mediocre surfing skills up a couple notches! I was impressed enough with the experience that I ended up booking a series of Private lessons later in the week - where Zane proceeded to drop a ton of knowledge on me - taking me from a pretty average Tourist, to actually being able to read and maneuver on a wave. The Team at Maui Sports Adventures lives and breathes the Aloha Spirit!

The best time ever, Zane was an awesome coach and made me gain lots of confident for the M2M crossing. Captain Matt escorted me on the crossing and was a hell of an advantage and help! Much much recommended, Matty, Kim and of course Shanine were the best ever hosts and gave lots of tips on Maui do’s and donts. Will come back next summer for sure !
