Just recently tried Luke's out and I won't go to any other place for Chicago style hot dogs, gyros, and Italian beef. Quality ingredients and the owner cares about his customers. I work at the nearby hospital, so even when work gets busy and I arrive a few minutes past my pick up time, the owner is understanding and the food is always hot and ready. If you're around the area, definitely check out this place, you won't regret it.

A great place with a winning menu. Family friendly and super tasty food with large portions. I recommend that you try the specials that include fries and drink. We had the 2 hot dogs and the Italian beef. Somehow it was too much good food. But yet we took a homemade meatball and a skirt steak sandwich to go. This is one of those rare finds that is tasty, bountiful, quick and family friendly. Also very clean and attentive staff. You can hear them all working on your orders as they are being called out. I will definitely be back whenever I am in this part of North Chicago.
