Awesome forest preserve that isn't that crowded. Love the scenery and the beautiful ravines. If you bring your dogs during warm weather please watch out for ticks. It's packed with tons of them. Other than that, in the winter, it's such a great place to work for a walk.

Smaller place but still nice for a walk with the pup. The path does take you right down to Lake Michigan which is neat. However, there isn't much beach there. There is a private residence that's gated with cameras and their own private driveway that goes right down through the path.

Had a beautiful winter walk. The gold and brown colors of the grass and fallen leaves on a sun/cloud day is unbeatable.. Did the 1.7 mile bird watching trail. Also walked by the lake. Very picturesque.

Found this gem last week. Never heard about this place until few weeks ago. Great spot for walking, Biking and bird watching. Must go specially during Covid time since we can’t enjoy indoors.

Really fantastic trail. It's the first grass trail I've been on, so that was a nice surprise. You get a beautiful prairie view as well as a lake view. Overall a great experience!
