My spouse and I are new homeowners and with all the craziness of moving, COVID, working from home, and all the repairs and fixes to our new 90 year old new home, we fell behind on preparing our wood stash for the winter season. Thankfully Baker Logging was here to save the day! Bernie at Baker was extremely kind and professional. He was able to fulfill our need of 3 full cords of wood at 300 per cord of which he delivered a cord a week. Bernie was prompt, flexible with delivery times, and provided us with great service! We have a high efficiency wood stove in our home and the wood that Baker Logging supplied to us is of great quality hardwood. The quantity was accurate to a full cord and combined with the quality of the wood we felt the pricing was very fair. A small percentage of logs/pieces needed to be split, but overall our experience with Baker was a positive one! Would definitely recommend and will use them again for future wood services! Bernie was great to work with and delivers a great product. I split a few of the larger pieces and the wood measured in the teens in moisture content. Will be calling back next fall!
Very pleased with Baker Logging's firewood supply. Generously sized full cords and a good quality low moisture hardwood mix that has been burning very clean. Look forward to staying warm this winter with the help of Baker logging.
Bernie told me he would deliver me a \good full cord of wood\ on Friday afternoon, and he did what he said he would do. I stacked the wood tight and there were several good armloads additional. One cannot ask for anything more.
I would highly recommend Baker Logging for your firewood needs. Bernie has always arrived at the time he said he would, and his placement of the dump was careful, avoiding surrounding plants and walkways. I purchased semi-seasoned would last week to save a little money, which should be fully seasoned by October. I would definitely recommend doing this in the late spring while the temps are tolerable for stacking away.
