A nice little cottage with beautiful views of the lake. Not bad if you want to relax by a fire and have some fun in the lake. They have row and paddle boat, kayaks, life vest, basketball, volleyball oh most importantly is that they have strong wifi for the techies. They have plenty of amenities.

We just had the most perfect vacation! Relaxing and clean atmosphere, friendly staff and guests, dog friendly. The perfect antidote to 2020! The website pictures do not do justice! This is a perfect spot for families who favor the outdoors without giving up the luxary of sleeping indoors and having a full kitchen/ bathroom. We hope to return next summer.

***This is also my review on Yelp—why write two different reviews :)*** This was a really solid, relaxing, no frills classic cottage/camp stay. Went for 3 nights with my husband and our toddler and baby. We stayed in Cottage 1 right on the bay and had a blast. If you’re expecting luxury accommodations then this isn’t your place, but if you are used to roughing it then this is definitely a step up into glamping territory! We had a bedroom and a futon in the living/kitchen area, we all split that with the baby in the pack and play. The cottage was clean and had all the necessary kitchen tools and appliances. Between that and the charcoal grill and fire pit outside we very successfully cooked all our meals. The stay right outside the lake was awesome. The freedom to pick out any kayak/rowboat/paddle boat at any time was fantastic, and we rented a jet ski for an hour which was a ton of fun. We fished off the dock in the mornings and early evenings and caught some cute little guys. The little swimming beach was perfect for us. The resort is also walking distance to a couple convenience stores, a deli and pizza joint. We even took an afternoon up to Lake George—it was nice to experience all the activity there but even nicer to return back to our quiet cottage! The other guests were lovely and friendly. The proprietors and staff were great. We had a wonderful and easy going time!

It a very nice place for a weekend getaway. It very quiet and full nature all around. They have paddled boarding, kayaking, and jet skis (extra fee for the jet ski). They have a small swimming area which is just big enough to enjoy a dip in freshwater (the lake is not very deep but it is enjoyable still). They have barbeque grills and small fire pit for each cabin. The cabins all the basic amenities you will need. And there WiFi all around the camp grounds. Overall good place to spend the weekend.

I don’t understand the 4 /5 stars or even 3 stars. I can’t imagine anyone in their right mind would give this place anything more than 1 Star. Filthy place with rodent droppings and holes in screens. The porches on the cabins are held up by rocks. The cabins are falling apart . The so called beach is waist deep. The place is disgusting and the location is equally as horrible. Don’t even waste your time or money. Worst place we have ever stayed. We kept the souvenir mug as a joke so we can laugh as we remember how gross this place was.

Good price and bare bones accommodations, but it is what it is...enjoy, the folks that run the pace are great.

Only reason I am not giving this 5 stars is because there were no bath towels in our cabin. Other than that, I highly recommend this place. Has a small beach which is dog friendly, paddle boats, kayaks you can rent for the day which are complimentary to guests, and you can walk to convenience stores and restaurants which is a plus for us! We also had our own fire pit and barbecue grill while we here. This is not a fancy place; it is rustic. Perfect lake view. We had a blast just watching the sunsets. I also recommend hiking Hadley Mountain. It is challenging, but it us well worth the hike! We are going on the 1 hour steamship cruise later on. We will return in the future. Thank you!
