Don't rent from them. Even with video and pictures they still made up some crazy excuse to keep the security deposit. They routinely stop by and said this was one of the best groups they rented to. After weeks of waiting for the deposit they said we were not going to get it. Very rude and nasty people after the fact. Nothing was broken or damaged the house was videotaped before they left so stop the bullsh_t.
Kara is the best!Referred multiple people to her and she always takes care of them. I have rented from her multiple time and always have exceptional service!
Wish I could give them zero stars. I booked a house for a weekend getaway through Expedia. 5 bedrooms 3 bathrooms. Apparently this house was listed by Red Awning who Pocono Properties Realty works with. Well 3 days before the reservation I get a confirmation email from Pocono Properties for a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house. When I called them to try resolving this, the woman practically yelled at me and told me to contact Expedia. Now you're probably thinking I did something to provoke her. Well When Expedia couldn't get through to Red Awning, they contacted Pocono Properties directly. The woman hung up on the Expedia's customer service rep, who I must say was one of the nicest people I ever spoke to. So clearly she was either having a bad day or is just naturally rude. Quick side note, everyone at Expedia's support center have been very nice to me. To shorten an already long story, we ended up having to rent a hotel for that weekend because when we arrived, the property was already rented by someone else. So far Expedia, Red Awning, and myself have not been able to get in touch with management at Pocono Properties to resolve this and hopefully provide us with some compensation for all the trouble we had. The lessons? Keep an eye on who you're renting from and don't trust Pocono Properties Realty.
