The roasted chicken just has that wonderful homemade flavor. The ceviche is simple but very well done and that is the basic theme for everything here.
Some of the best fried plantains ever! The rice dishes we had were both fantastic as well. To top it off, I was able to get a great Costa Rica coffee brewed fresh.
Very responsible Covid-wise. The taste is really authentic and good prices. I enjoyed the experience. Friendly staff and the best: it’s family owned!
The beans and rice combination was amazing, I wanted to just eat that by itself. The tres leches cake was great as well! The cake was a bit further than usual, leaving it with a littler more to chew even after it was soaked with milks. We also got chicken, and sausage, which were flavorful and delicious, but above all that, the service was wonderful. We came in very close to closing because we were about to drive two hours home, and wanted dinner beforehand, but they were very nice about it. I will stop by again as I'm driving through!
TERRIFIC FOOD FIT FOR A TICO This local joint is owned by a lovely family who obviously enjoys making delicious Costa Rican food. We just moved to LO and ordered takeaway the first night in our home from Casa del Pollo and absolutely enjoyed the Casados we shared (steak, chicken, pork, and Kielbasa). As a rookie, I neglected to order the optional tortillas and made mental note to do so next time. Fast forward to a month later and we decided to try their roast chicken family meal. Sooooooo moist, flavorful, and AMAZING! They've officially made it into our once a week takeout rotation and I doubt we will ever be able to pass up ordering one of their phenomenal chickens again. Don't forget to ask for tortillas. Do enjoy their house-made Chimichurri and hot sauce. They're unique and I could probably drink them both. Come on out and support this Covid-compliant family restaurant and don't forget the 20% tip they deserve.

Last week was the first time we visited this magnificent restaurant. But It is definitely not the last. We had great time with the good service, with the magnificent food and fine drinks and with the decent price. We will no doubt visit there again.
