Beautiful place to visit. Learned a lot. Lots of history that I wasn’t aware of. They didn’t enforce mask wearing tho which was a little worrisome.

The museum is well done and VERY informative. Beautiful facility is well maintained with incredible views of the lake below.
I have been going to Lake of the Ozarks my whole life but today I visited Willmore Lodge for the first time. Built in the early 30’s to house administration while Bagnell Dam was being built, it now houses a museum of the period before, during and after construction of the dam. Lots of free parking and no admission charge. Lovely views of the lake and near outdoor park with picnic tables and a scenic outlook. Definitely worth seeing.
It was a great small museum ,their was something broken which I didn't include. It was one of their tvs but it didn't hit the experience too hard. (They supposedly fixed it later in the day ). It's a well documented museum about the dam. It has beautiful views and people there are friendly. Definitely suggest coming here.
Beautiful castle like interior. We viewed the eagle nest across the cove from their telescope. Wonderful history museum, lots of local information available. Can't wait to return during the warm weather to the reopened outdoor walk to the point.
