Our family just spent a wonderful week at this charming place, just getting out of the city and taking a step back in time. We made friends, hiked, swam, biked, kayaked, BBQ'ed, played volleyball & basketball, etc. all within the resort property! We did leave the resort a few times, mainly to check out restaurants, distilleries, Warren Dunes, Sawyer Home & Garden Market, and Lighthouse Place Outlet Mall, but the kids (teens) just wanted to stay here. It truly is a wholesome family getaway spot, we would love to go back - already looking for dates!

The grounds and activities are impeccable. The staff is very friendly. The pools and lake are beautiful. My kids had so much fun at the lake. Some cabins are exquisite. Our cabin needed a little TLC. But overall we had a fantastic week and would definitely come back.

We had a great time. Unfortunately our grandkids could not join us like we had planned. The facility is very nice, comfortable, quiet at the right times and a good mix of activities - even in a goofy year like 2020. Only thing keeping me from giving a 5 star rating is that the unit we stayed in last weekend was a bit dirty. I suspect the cleaning crew did a fast once over and moved on to the next unit. The air intake for the heating and cooling system was totally covered with hair, fuzz and other fun items. I cleaned it off but it needs to be removed, washed and vacuumed out good. We will be back. What an amazing little getaway! The lake, the pool, the atmosphere! Some cabins are better than others. Make sure you look closely, the screened in porch makes the vacation! Lots of great restaurants nearby. We were shocked by the lack of mosquitoes too! They're doing a great job!

Coming from the hospitality industry I was very impressed with the grounds excellent job maintaining this property! Very friendly staff and residents! The cabin we rented I believe it was b8 needs serious maintenance but for the money the condition matched the expectation. The cabin could have been cleaner but wasn’t filthy. Would return and if we do will update this review.
