Totally Awesome!!! My great nephew just loves loves loves Thomas. However, he really likes the Caboose store! Awesome CSR's!! We really appreciate Michael! Keep up the awesomeness!!!
Total waste of time! The peg hooks and shelves are practically empty.
Drove up with my dad from Pueblo. We are building a new O scale layout. Had not been to their new location. Don't waste your time or gas. If your into HO or N scale they have stuff but very little to no selection for O/O27. Interested in a used steamer but the guy wouldn't let us see it run?? Stopped at Roy's Train Shop in Colorado Springs on the wsy home and it was a very nice shop with educated folks there running the store. Very helpful folks! Spent close to 2k there. Roy's defiantly has a couple new customers and I don't plan on going back to Caboose. Too bad for Caboose. It used to be a go to type place. Sad sad...
The place was alright. I’ve definitely been to better hobby shops but this one was alright. Staff was extremely helpful (even though I didn’t purchase anything) but the shelves weren’t very stocked (not sure if this is a good or bad thing). Wide variety of roadnames, models, scales, etc.
Not sure why you were replying to me I did no reviewing or had no comments on your establishment. I have only been there one time and it was a couple months ago with some trains I was looking to sell and you guys were not taking any to resell as you had a large stock to get rid of. So as it stands I am indifferent other than not being able to unload some used trains to you. Lol by the way you reviews are wonderful to read.
Cool store tailoring to rain and diorama hobbyists. They have some unique items you won't find in the big box stores. I just hope they can fill their inventory with more cool stuff. A lot of the shelves were empty.
Very friendly staff, and a lot of unique products. I was looking for a more general hobby store, that might cover model paints, tabletop gaming, and more general scale model supplies. Caboose is very narrowly focused on model trains. Miniature terrain, some model paints and some tools are present. Don't expect to swing by and grab some D20s and a Games Workshop painting kit. It's not that place. That said, the inventory was pretty impressive, no less than 3 employees asked if I needed help finding things and the place was clean, friendly and inviting. I am not into model railroads, but I could see this being a regional destination for that hobby. They had aisles of parts, track and railcars. I'm giving a 5 for friendly staff, this is a nice little place, and that's not the case for every hobby shop.
