Stumbled upon this restaurant while on lunch break and expectations were quite high. ESPECIALLY since I've only been to Elaine's in Dallas. While, I was expecting that heat from this meal, I got lukewarm. The staff was cool. I just think the prices were a bit ridiculous for the small portions. I ordered quite a bit and for 40 bucks with tip, yet 2 veggie plates, should of had more food to me, so it didn't add up. Also expected flavors to be on point. Bland to say the least. I was hungry as hell, so I devour this so-called Veggie plate in 2.5 seconds. Served hot in temperature which was nice, but not as good as I wanted it. I purchased a few drinks that I still have yet to drink. Supposedly, I need to wait until I have a date to crack them open. Now the plantains were good. So happy they did a great job with consistency on at least those from my expensive entree. Will I go back? Maybe for the cabbage but I'll need hot sauce. \u200d️

The drive was well worth it. I had little to no wait time people were professional and thorough. Food is exceptional. I drove 30 miles well worth it.

10.81 for Medium Jerk chicken plate. It was Delicious! My only complaint is the spice level, it was hot as HELL. TOO hot for a child to eat which I had purchased a medium order with intent to share with my children but could not so. Cabbage, rice and beans was delicious as well.

Certainly a place worth stopping over, the food is awesome and fresh, the prices are reasonable and it is constantly well organized there. Fantastic work.

2021 Review: a little piece of Jamaica here in the states If you’ve been then you know the oxtails are on point! Really good prices for plate sizes. If you find yourself thinking of trying, just do it.you’ll taste what you’re looking for️
