A lot of options on the lot. Loved the map concept and the ability to view at our own pace. I was very pleasantly surprised on the beautiful homes on the lot and will return when we are ready to make our final decision.

This is not a great place to do business. I had found a house at Lane Thomas in Hammond, La after looking for 8 months. After I signed a purchase agreement, got approved by a mortgage company for the house and had my 65,000 down payment I was told that my house was sold to someone else. They told me that it is "company policy" that until the contract is signed they are able to sale the house from underneath you. Obviously they are more worried about making the money instead of positive feedback from a very satisfied customer like a great place of business would be. Please before you decide to purchase from that place ask about all the "policies" that they have.

Please don't waste your time or hard earn money with this company. We bought a home almost 2 months ago. We have some MAJOR issues that they will not even return my call about. We have doors that won't even shut, shelves in the closets that you can't put things on because they are coming out the wall, our air conditioning doesn't work on half the trailer so my kids sleep on the cough at night because their rooms are too hot to sleep in. but our biggest problem is that we have mold, yes MOLD. The kids bathroom ceiling is leaking and I know that it is in the wall also because the window stays wet. I have called over,and ,over, and over again. They tell me it's a manufacturer issue so I call them over and over and over and over and NOBODY has yet to return my phone call. My son is HIGHLY allergic to mold. I have the test results from the specialist to prove it. We are paying for a house and we can't even use half of it. I WILL BE GETTING AN ATTORNEY NEXT WEEK. Again, please don't waste your time and hard earn money with this company. Once they deliver your home, they want nothing else to do with you. I will not make a note phone call to them or the manufacturer. My next call will be to an attorney..

Lane Thomas Housing is one big scam. I went to their lot hoping to purchase a used mobile home. They ran my credit report and told me that they would contact me with an answer. After several follow up calls, left messages and calls that were not returned, I finally talked to a human. Mr. Melvin informed me that my application was denied but **** would like to speak with me about financing options. I assumed that **** was a credit manager or the like. However my phone rang and it was a credit repair service, Rock Credit, who I was referred to by Lane Thomas. He promised to remove items from my credit and increase my score in a matter of months. All of this could be done for a fee of course. I asked for written information about the company and the caller questioned my reasoning for wanting something in writing. "What do you need in writing, I've explained exactly what we can do for you." Well, I did not just fall from the turnip truck and I will not fall for a scam such as this. They proceeded to call everyday for the next two weeks. Even if I have perfect credit, I will NOT do business with Lane Thomas Housing. By the way, I went to two other places the next week and was approved for the very same style and model home. CROOKS!

I have purchased a new home from LANE Thomas and it has been the worst experience I have ever had. Issues corrected after the sale is a night mare. Johnny my sales person who assures me after the sale he would be available and like he can't help me. The owner never calls me back and I have been waiting for about a year now. Shush I would have bought somewhere else
