I just Couldn't resist Coas Section of maps. My curiosity gets the best of me when it comes to books, now I can add maps to that list. The staff was courteous, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Enjoyed every minute of being there. A lot of great sales too.

They give great credit for almost everything you bring in, but the credit isn't really worth much. They have significantly raised the price of their books and your credit only covers a portion of the cost of your purchase. That said, COAS does have a great selection of used and some new books, maps, books on CD, movies, music, vinyl, and supplies. Staff is helpful and can find the most obscure title for you.

I moved from Las Cruces two and a half years ago and I still yearn to be back in this store. I miss the endless shelves full of books and the welcoming environment. I could spend countless hours lost among the books here and never feel out of place. This is truly one of my favorite book stores.
