Sad sad service. Employees are rude and have no compassion for someone trying to figure out how to get home. First time having issues with security caused us to miss flight. Trying to rebook was a nightmare, lady at the counter yelled and scolded. Told to go to gate and wait. Flight was booked , no room. Gate agent rolled her eyes when we asked what to do now. We have never missed a flight before so we have no idea how any of it works. Shrugged her shoulders and said you will wait on next flight and if it’s full then you’ll get put on standby again and again. SMH Never flying them again. Took a loss on those tickets and booked with competitor who actually gave a damn.

Got on my flight with no problem. Staff was there to assist with whatever problem I had. The flight was a bit tight to be honest. But other then that I did not have any major problems getting to and from gates.
Flights from SD to PHX are always easy. Boarding on time, arrivals usually 20 minutes early. However, that doesn't matter since we normally have to wait for a gate to open up
American Airlines flight from Las Vegas to Dallas and from Dallas to Miami. I have to say that no social distancing, flight was at full capacity, all the seats were taking. When you board the plane you are given a bag with water, pretzels, cookies and a hand sanitizer. People are called by sections but don't respect the 6ft distance protocol.
If you want your customers to present ID at self check-in, please program that into the self service kiosk. I don't appreciate having rude employees tell me "my ID should be out already" when I had no idea they would be checking my ID. The screen should prompt me to have ID ready. Its not that difficult to program that in.This is not my first bad experience flying with American Airlines. Customer service is very poor. I will be flying Delta in the future
Baggage claim is the longest wait or your bag is just straight out lost.
I will never fly American Airlines again. I purchased two round-trip tickets leaving from New York going to Vegas with a stop in Philadelphia. The flight from New York me and my boyfriend were seated together. The flight from Philly we were split up. Now I’m at the airport and it’s delay after delay. Now I’m being told that it’s a possibility that the flight won’t leave until tomorrow. “I got to go to work tomorrow”.
I travel a lot for business purposes, and I can tell with confidence that this is the worst airline I've ever used.
