Attended LH for approx. 1 1/2 to 2 years. Wanted to be close and know more about the Jewish culture, to learn their language and even purchased a lot of Jewish items from Amazon to display etc. It appeared that my relationship with my Heavenly Father was deepening. Approx a couple of months back in desperate need of looking for a room for rent for my small dog and myself due to living in a hostile environment. Willing to pay rent which would be between 4 and 5 hundred per month. I know that's not a whole lot, but that's all I'm able to afford. I'm 61 years of age, been in the military, no drinking, no smoking and very quiet. Know one in the synagogue stepped forward to offer help in this time of need. The Rabbi and a couple of others would comment that they are lifting up powerful prayers and that their hearts are crying out for me. I left a long email on their email address explaining how much they hurt me and request to remove me from their email address since I feel like that I am no longer a member there and will never return. They never attempt to be concern to contact me to even investigate why I'm feeling this way. Is this how jewish people really are? I'm a born again Christian since 10 years old, always attended Christian churches, this was my first synagogue that I have attended. I never thought in anyway that a church or synagogue would just turn away like that to someone who is in need.
