This is high in the mountains outside of Las Vegas. About 45 minutes away. You can see the mountains that surround the area as well as the lights of Las Vegas. The best part when you look up at the sky, there are so many stars and constellations that you can really See. It is also quiet, no city noises, only the sounds of outdoor
Awesome kimball camp at Mt. Potosi
This was a women's retreat. Wonderful experience
The Soil is hard but the sights are worth it! Greatly encourage scouts to camp up here.
I am a boy scout of America and Kimball scout reservation and their star observatory is amazing. Definetly reccomend
is an amazing site to see the night sky, with an elevation of about 5,890 feet, in addition to this very low light pollution, the placed it has several paved place for you to put equipment, also has electricity and a small library great place
