My husband and I have been members of Bet Knesset Bamidbar for over 10 years. We've attended other Synagogues in the Las Vegas Area, but BKB is where we have found extended family, spirituality, and purpose. It is very easy to meet people and get involved in all activities. People are welcoming and greet you at the door. Our choir meets regularly and sings at all of our services. We sing both traditional and non-traditional music accompanied by our outstanding and professional choir director Tim Cooper. Jonathan Friedmann, our Cantor, is spectacular, and highly knowledgeable. As choir President, I can attest to the fact that our choir and Cantor work together to make our services meaningful and inspirational.

I have been a congregant for many years and I feel that only one person felt that the Rabbi was treated unfairly. I believe that he was replaced because he did not do what was expected of him and he did not handle the job of a proper Rabbi. Come to any service and make your own opinion by asking members who have been there for over 20 years. I made the mistake of leaving this temple briefly for one year and have been back ever since and I plan to stay. Come feel the warmth, and ask our members how they feel.

When I first moved to Las Vegas in 2003 I attended many services at various Temples. I found that BKB was the best for me. The cantor has a great voice and is very personable and the people are friendly. They use the reform prayer book Gates of Pray. The high holiday services are very moving and the Passover sedar is fantastic. I recommend Temple BKB to seniors in Las Vegas.

I've been a member, as well as being in the choir, for a few years. Our Cantor, Jonathan Friedman and Music Director, Tim Cooper make our experiences at the Friday night services very up-lifting and enjoyable. Diana C.
