I played hockey a ton as a kid, but hadn't been on the ice for over 20 years. Needed to get outfitted with some gear to get back out there. Was lucky to find Hockey Town. Jay is incredibly kind and helpful and full of that old school spirit that made me fall in love with hockey and skating to begin with. There is an excellent selection of new and used gear, and Jay helped fix me up with the best stuff for me. I would recommend Hockey Town to anyone anywhere. Its the best hockey shop I've ever been to, and places like this are increasingly hard to find. Thank you Jay for helping me get back on the ice!!! It's been a blast!

We had a great experience at Hockey Town. Our granddaughter was fitted with the perfect skates. They were precisely sharpened and heat molded to fit her feet properly. Try to get that in a big box store!! Our nine year old granddaughter walked away with confidence, and we had to stop at a rink on the way home. What a blast!

What a great experience! Jay is so knowledgeable and definitely wanted to ensure we would be happy with our skates! My sister ordered a pair from him after his reviews on each brand and style. I had him heat mine to mold to my feet and what a difference it made. He is not about making a sale, only about his chairs being happy with what they purchase and how they fit! Very happy! I went in to get sharpened, and was immediately taken aback by the shop's character and the passion with which it is decked out. Jay, in a very casual non-sales-ey way, noticed that my skates were grossly oversized for my feet and also not stiff enough for my weight (215lb). After I showed interest in getting skates that fit, he made a recommendation I decided to take based on implicitly trusting his obvious expertise. I asked him to sharpen my existing skates to use while waiting for the new ones to be ready, and I was immediately thrilled with the result. For the first time, I had an edge I could actually trust and really lean into turns and push hard. My skating began improving immediately, even on my old skates. I've now gotten on the ice with the new skates and I'm thrilled with how much better they fit, just like Jay told me I would be. I have so much more control now that I'm having to re-learn the basics with my additional range of motion. Thanks so much Jay for setting me up!
