I would give the Hunger Tamer a better review but every single time I place an order with them, either directly or through a food delivery service they do not pay attention to the details of my order and get it wrong. I explicitly stated in my order on Uber Eats that I do NOT want the red sauce - to include it a separate container - and yet you guessed it, my order came with red sauce covering my entire order!!! I cannot stand red sauce with my food so now the entire order is a waste of time, money & effort because I don't want the food!!! Read the order!!!! In its entirety!

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. They were very busy seem like a little behind. However the food is not good quality West Africa food. I was very disappointed and not satisfied at all. The jollof Rice was nasty with a bad after taste. I have not yet found a good West African restaurant in laurel that I can say the food is good. I have been cooking West Africa food for a long time and for the 60 that we spend there for dinner, because I did not feel up to cooking that night I could have definitely saved. Some advice to the cook please use the correct ingredients because the vegetable stew was not sweet at all.

Fantastic, and highly recommended. The menu features an extraordinary breadth of Ghanian cuisine. I tried so many items and didn't even begin to exhaust the menu. It's full of warm spices and a bit of heat, even in the sweet klarko. The spices are a bit like Indian food but a different profile, so it's like discovering a new world. The jollof rice is a delicious meal into itself, and the goat kebeb was a hearty chew with deep flavor. Sheila behind the counter was friendly and gave me a great introduction to the food. (And bonus, they were all super conscientious about wearing masks.) There are even vegan items; the spinach and bean stew was amazing with the spicy plantains. The menu is also full of great meat dishes, which I'll sample on many future visits. Find a whole new kind of eating right here in Laurel.
