Dr. Elizabeth has been my optometrist for over 15 years and I have always enjoyed my eye exams with her! She really gets to know you as a person in addition to being extremely thorough and helpful. If I have a problem, she has a solution and follows up to make sure it's working. In addition to routine exams, they helped me treat a pretty severe eye infection a few years ago and were able to fit me in on really short notice. I would definitely recommend them to someone looking for a great optometrist!

Very good at what they do, have great service and a pretty good selection of eyewear to choose from!

I just had my annual eye exam at Crandon and Crandon and wanted to share my experience with others who may be concerned, like I was, about going to a doctor during this time. I was incredibly impressed by how seriously they are responding to patient concerns over COVID – they sanitize all equipment and spaces in between patients and wear masks and face shields. I felt totally safe and relieved. I have been going to Elizabeth ever since my daughter was young and I am very happy seeing both of them. They are both great doctors, and it is obvious that they truly care about their patients (on top of being very competent!). I recommend them to anyone who is looking for a new eye doctor!

I went to Crandon & Crandon in college and began seeing them a few years ago when we moved back to Lawrence. The first few years were fine, but during our last visit we were shocked to be charged for our annual free exam that is covered by my insurance. When I asked what the charge was for, they said it was because the doctor looked at how our contacts were sitting on our eyes. They never even warned us and since both my daughter and I wear contacts we were doubly slapped with the expense. I tried to reorder contacts for my daughter more than a month ago and no one would return my calls. I finally asked that all our records be sent to a new doctor in town and can't get anyone to actually send them. Both my new doctor's crew and I have requested our medical records and have been met with horrible customer service. When I called last week, the woman working there named Courtney said she was faxing the files to my new doctor at that moment. It's a week later and still no files. It's sad to see a local business disregard their loyal customers. I'm not sure what else to do beside start seeing our new doctor without any medical records. I thought legally they were required to send the records, but after a month of trying to get them to send the files I am officially giving up and warning other potential clients to find another optometrist in Lawrence.

My sons father took my son I for a basic eye exam two years ago. My son had vision insurance and i was told via phone while making the appointment that the insurance I had would work for this company. A half of a year later they sent me a bill of 156 due to not running insurance the month my son went to this business. Now during a pandemic that has me jobless they are suing and taking me too court over a bill that is less than 200. If they would have ran the the insurance the same month this would not be an issue. I am a single mom of two, one of which is disabled and has sever autoimmune disorders. I will forever protest against this company and spread the word on what actions they took due to their negligence. During a national pandemic. You truly are sickening. My son also has perfect vision you did not properly diagnose my disabled son either, you are crooks!
