This was our first experience with Ski Barn, and we were super pleased with the service we received. We were lucky enough to work with Bob. I have had difficulty finding boots that fit. He took time to find me boots and custom fit them (adjusting buckles, molded inside, shaved tongue, inserting heel wedge, arch support), making them fit just right! He also did a great job with my 15 year old. He took his time with us, talking through the differences in skis based on our experience and preferred skiing style. They didn't have the skis that would be best for my daughter, so Bob called another store and had skis shipped to Lawrenceville for us. He didn't try and upsell us on the binding, skis, or boots, and was much more concerned with making sure that we got a great fitting and left happy with our gear. Super happy with my experience at the shop. We used our new gear in VT last weekend, and loved them!

I have been going to Ski Barn for years, I am so disappointed in the service I received today. The employee that handled my family was rude about everything. It’s a shame considering we spent a lot of money at Ski Barn to buy all of our equipment . I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on. You would think their customer service would be better especially in the times we are in!

I have to say this is a horrible place to buy ski supplies. I pre ordered new ski gear for my daughter and they sold it by accident in November. Then told me there was nothing they could do to obtain a replacement. Therefore I looked online and found the Jacket and pants for much cheaper almost everywhere. Today 12/24/2020 I had a prescheduled fitting for me and my two children. I registered online for all three of us as instructed and scheduled a 9:30 AM fitting. I called the store to double check because of my first experience, talked to a male staff member that confirmed my registration and time. This morning I drove the 35 minutes with my kids and went to the store. We entered the store, talked to an associate and he pulled our paperwork out of a bin and asked us to sit down while he located our ski’s and would fit us in a minute or two. 25 minutes later he re appeared and informed me that there was a mixup and our three sets of Ski’s were mistakenly rented to other people. I asked for the manager and waited another 20 minutes for the bearded manager to arrive. We explained what happened and he was very rude and said hey things happen and nothing he could do and wasn’t willing to help us in any way. No apology and seemed bother to take 1-3 minutes to talk to us. So we left and will never shop there again. FYI there were others experiencing similar situations!!! I left and found Pelican Ski Shop in the Somerville NJ area. We drove there, got our ski rentals and saved a lot of money. Shop Pelican and boycott Ski Barn.
