Horrible service and company! Some months it’s 20 and some it’s 130 or above because of how fast the bill gets processed into your account.

My name is Cooper and I am 14 and my favorite kite got stuck in a power line and we couldn't get it out so we cut the line thinking it would come down but it diddent so I went home and told my family and a few hours later my grandpa saw a man getting the kite down from the line and asked for the kite back and he said o I had to come on my day off be more careful next time\ that's not fair when the kite was falling I was reeling it in but the handle snapped so I started running but no help I feel he had no right to take it without proof it happend on fault.
Westar Energy is a 5 stars company. We lost all electricity about 3 weeks ago to the entire house. After calling them they were here in about 20 minutes. They worked diligently to escalate the problem. Unfortunately it was our responsibility. The underground line in the old house broke and had to be replaced. They installed overground line promptly until new was installed. They were part of preparing for the new line from beginning to end.I would like to express my gratitude to the professional team. They were also friendly and helpful. We will not have to deal with this problem again. Great job Westar Energy. Thank you!
I hate the phone message. It tried to ask all kinds of irrelevant questions - age, vacation preferences etc. Finally gave me a human being. From there I was thoroughly satisfied with the young man who helped me on the phone; he was helpful, intelligent, and articulate. If the phone message wasn't so annoying I would have given it a 5-star.
I have seen parasitic bacteria with more Empathy than the customer service agents for Westar (now if you work for Westar and do care clearly not talking about you) we made our payment with money we scrapped together and they still shut it off saying \we didn't hold up our end of the bargain.\ We paid the money how is that not holding up our end???? The agent had the nerve to say we didn't call them!!!!! Paying the damn bill is OUR obligation. Your dudilagence or even just a simple oh one moment while i take a look at your account and place me on a dang hold if necessary to find out it was paid but that would require competency and the ability to use common sense.
