These guys are great. I picked up a small reproduction chest of drawers on Craigslist that I wanted to make into a powder room vanity and I talked to John Cooper on the phone then brought the piece by to discuss. It required a fair amount of alteration to the back and two of the drawers to allow space for the plumbing. John came up with a plan and a week later it was ready and exactly what we discussed. It looked great and he stained all of the alterations to match the existing finish. The vanity installed perfectly and is a unique piece thanks to John and Cooper Furniture Repair.

Beyond amazing repair! I cannot believe how the owner repaired our family heirloom table. It looks brand new after forty years of use. Also, he picked up and delivered the table without an extra charge. Incredible!
John does beautiful work, and his attention to details makes him a renowned artist with furniture. His work included the restoration of an iron bed that belonged to my grandmother which dated back to the 1930s along with a ladder back chair that belonged to my grandfather. The pieces are absolutely gorgeous. He also re-made and repaired the handles for my bedroom armoire which had come off in moving. John provided a quote which was reasonable along with a pickup and delivery date for the completion of the project. Excellent service and outstanding craftsmanship for the pieces that were done!!!!!
John does beautiful restoration work with great attention to detail. We found his business online, and talking with John about his years of experience, we entrusted him with a mahogany buffet that has been handed down in the family. The piece had numerous chips and scratches. He expertly matched the missing veneers and took great care in refinishing the interior cabinet and drawers. Immediately, we placed two other bedside tables with water damage and scratches in his expert hands, and they also look like new. John is now removing a water stain from a mahogany table with a mother-of-pearl inlay. We would not give him such an intricate job if we didn’t have full trust in him. Highly recommend!
John did an excellent job on my Dining room set, so beautiful and like new yet still has the charm of the old style ! So happy with my choice to let him do the work !!!
