Nice and quiet. They are really trying to abide by social distancing guidelines. Kudos to them.

It was one of the best places to study for college students. The study rooms are great for students that're from UGA, Emory, GT, or other distant colleges that are back home that need study space to study for graduate admissions exams like the MCAT, GRE, LSAT, and etc. I personally use them a lot because they provide a unique, isolated, and controlled space for me to adequately study that an open study space or quiet room don't provide as effectively. Unfortunately, they recently made a new system that you must reserve a spot for a study room in order to use it or risk being booted out by GGC students. And there's no way for non-GGC students to be able to reserve a study room, so students from other universities such as GSU can't be able to use the study rooms to study for exams like the GRE, the MCAT, the LSAT, or Step 1. Even though the Kaufman Library has more than plenty of study rooms to provide study spaces for both GGC and non-GGC students.

Plenty of space, lots of outlets, friendly and helpful customer service, a wide selection of media in physical and digital formats.

I have no problems with this library. As a non-student guest, you may have access to most of their resources. The exceptions I know are access towards checking out DVD's, using the printer, and the right to reserve a study room. A variety of study rooms are available here which are usually in high demand and their staff is very friendly and helpful as expected.
