10/10/2020 the ceremony was by the waterfall reception at the red barn then a fire at the end of the night. Staff was excellent could not have asked for more.

Beautiful venue. It was a beautiful day for our wedding and loved the venue. The rustic barn is so gorgeous. Only downfall was Lawson city water broke. Which is out of the vendors hands but no refund or anything was given. There was no facilities for our entire wedding. So you can only imagine how that affected our day. It would be nice if you could get the venue until 12 or 1 since you have to set up everything yourself and clean up all of yourself. Once you include all of those things you don’t have much reception time with clean up and having to be out of there by 11. Additional pay for additional hours is too much once you add all the labor for what you’re paying for. Other than that beautiful venue. Cute country setting and great location.

I was married here in 2017, and my wedding was the first for the new owners and everything was so amazing, we refered our friends to get married there as well this past weekend. I decorated and coordinated most of the wedding and the owners were there the whole time asking if we needed anything, and even offered their time to help set up and make sure that those of us staying on the property were well taken care of. Behind the scenes they made my job look effortless and the bride was so happy with it all. I cant even rave about this place enough. You want a beautiful and scenic wedding this property/venue has EVERYTHING!!!!!! Do NOT read the old reviews the new owners have completely made this venue the perfect place for a fairytale wedding.

My daughter was married at Mellon Acres yesterday. It is beautiful and they family goes above and beyond in everything. From the moment we booked the wedding and all the way through. Extremely helpful. Made us all feel like family. Highly recommend!!

Bulldogs, barn swallows, and killdeer were our only neighbors. Great place to park RV.
