The food was great and very filling. It surprised my husband and I. We ordered a Southwest Scramble and the Old Country Boy Breakfast. Both were very good my only complaint was that the water tasted like tap and my steak was rare when I asked for medium well. Not end of the world problems but they were corrected swiftly by our server.

I called this store looking for a specific toy hoping beyond hope whoever answered the phone would be willing to help me. Samara (I’m sorry about not knowing the correct spelling:) totally did!! She went above and beyond & by doing that saved me 4 hrs of travel time and the gas it would have taken. 5 stars to Cracker Barrel Layton for hiring such an awesome person! Thanksgiving for us was a little different this year. I'm used to being busy cooking. This year my husband wanted to get away for the holiday. We truly appreciated our waitress Tina. She was so welcoming and positive even though she had to work today. I truly enjoyed her conversation and overall attitude. Plus we are fans of cracker Barrel. Thanks for a great Thanksgiving meal! Not bad for me not cooking it!. Plus I always find Snoopy somewhere.
OMG this was our second visit and totally impressed still!! Our waitress was just adorable!!! To top it off the prices are amazingly reasonable and affordable. 3 of us ate dinner and had to take leftovers home and we spent a little less than 40.00.
I'm giving it a only because of the long wait. I understand the Covid restrictions and social distancing however having to wait an hr was long. Otherwise the food was great and our server Latrell was awesome
