So before I left for Florida I took pictures of my place because maintenance was scheduled to come fix things. Now before I tell the full story. Maintenance was supposed to come fix things for about a 2 month period. I had to call about 3 times to finally get them on task to do their job. So I leave for Florida. I come back for a very brief couple of days and leave again for Buffalo for a week. Now that I’m back from Buffalo I’m actually having time to grocery shop and live like a normal person. Guess who’s Great Grandmothers cookie jar is missing from this picture. MINE. So I call in yesterday wondering where my grandmas cookie jar is. I don’t have a lot of items from my grandparents so this had me concerned. NO ONE CALLS ME BACK YESTERDAY OR SO FAR TODAY. So I call and the owner JEFF of LCF Homes and OaK Creek Estate on DuPont answers. I tell him the situation. He calls his “maintenance group” Tells me he is just now hearing about this situation. Informs me that my grandmothers cookie jar was knocked over and broke while they were fixing my fridge. His maintenance crew tries to tell him that it was in a cabinet and it fell when they moved the fridge. Which is funny because you can clearly see in the picture I have that it was on the counter next to the fridge and that any normal worker would pick that up and move it before working on something. You know what he had the audacity to say to me? “If you knew maintenance was coming to do work behind your fridge you should have moved it” No one left me a note. No one left me the pieces to try and fix it. THEY BROKE MY BELONGINGS AND STOLE MY BELONGINGS AND THREW THEM AWAY. Instead I’m left with a picture. And a whole lot of tears today because this cookie jar was so important to me. I don’t care if it’s an item. Every time I looked at that jar I smiled because it reminded me of my grandma.
I rent my home I'm here I've been here 7 years so it must mean I like it. If you follow the rules and pay your rent on time there should be no problems. If you don't then you'll probably have complaints because you didn't follow the rules.
Jeff is very unreasonable. Apparently has the Napoleon Complex. After reading all the reviews I know understand your thinking. When your dishonest and deceptive you naturally believe everyone else is to.
Do not Rent here if you actually want to be in a place where people care about your comfort level. If I had the option to give 0 stars I would. AC has gone out again. Under heat advisory here, and can't get maintenance here until Monday. Moving into this place was one of the biggest mistakes I ever made. Do not trust these people in their promises, will tell you anything to get you to move in. Then screw you in the things that need repair.
