From the moment that I first spoke to Luis on the phone I knew that I was speaking to a master craftsman. I know quite a bit about leather and am a perfectionist. When we met face to face I knew that I had found my guy! I had spoken to most of the upholsters on Maui and my search ended when I met Luis. My Auto upholstery job was a challenge and Luis welcomed the challenge.I spent 14 years working with BMW,Porsche and Audi and all of them would be thrilled with L.D Upholstery and Luis!

We had a very old sofa and chairs that were in need of new life. They were probably at least 20 years old. We debated getting a replacement, but it was so expensive, not to mention it felt wasteful! After searching for someone to do the reupholstery we met with Luis. He was great! Very personable, helpful, and helped us find exactly what we needed. He was very prompt and easy to communicate with. AND the best part: he did a beautiful job. We wanted bright, vibrant fabrics and he did the most wonderful job rebuilding our sofa and finishing the chairs. I wish I had more to reupholster with him! I highly recommend his work. Luis and his team did an amazing job on my truck. With a ton of leather and vinyl options I chose a white crocodile pattern vinyl. Now my seats are sand and water proof and I get compliments every time someone sees it.
We contacted Luis with an inquiry to repaint a bedroom suite. he was a delight to deal with. he requested some photos and gave us a price which we felt was very fair. I think when the furniture was delivered, the job might have been a little more complicated than he envisioned from the photos. however he assured us he could do it and we would be happy. He kept us up to date and sent photos of progress and we were very happy with the end result Luis is very talented, very fair and great to work with. We have already recommended him to others.

I have a new house that had eves that were not too deep, and was facing NE where, when the rain hit the front door, it just forced its way in. Consequently, I had drywall issues inside that had been repaired at closing, but needed repairing again. So I asked Luis to create an awning for me. I wanted something a little different, was concerned that fabric couldn't hold up, but liked the look of fabric awnings. Luis took on my job and he and his helper did a great job of creating a front porch awning that is sturdy, looks great, and does a fantastic job of keeping water from coming in the house! Luis warrantied his work also. The price was reasonable, too! Thank you, Luis!
Luis helped us make a custom cover for our brand new mini excavator. Very helpful and knowledgeable in custom designs. We are very happy with our cover! Not only does it keep our machine protected, but it also looks very good too! Would highly recommend for any of your custom upholstery or cover needs.
