This is by far the best ski resort I've ever been. I'm an intermediate skier and there were some easy trails and I ventured on a few black diamonds which I found very challenging. I love the beautiful view of the Rockies. And the fact that there's no man-made snow... What a huge difference. There are tons of tracks through woods which are my favorite. The ski-able acreage is just massive... Don't brush this resort aside because they only have 5 lifts... It's worth a visit. You often feel like you're the only one on the slope because Ski Cooper so huge. The new expansion on the back is really great and has a bunch of double black diamond runs.

I've skied everywhere there is to ski and I love this place for the simplicity of it. Inexpensive, family friendly, fun, challenging to all levels of skiers. We are staying at a home in Leadville, a fifteen minute drive. I will definitely return. Free parking and you can park and walk maybe 25 yards to slopes. In reality, none of the so called big resorts top Cooper. Simply awesome.

Great skiing for the family. Great handling of Covid restrictions... We always felt safe. Will definitely be back!

Great family friendly, affordable option! This was our first time skiing and the classes definitely made it an enjoyable experience. All the trainers we met had extensive experience and loved what they did!

What an awesome little resort. I grew up skiing here and was able to bring my son this weekend. He really enjoyed it. It is an incredible value compared to the other 'big' resorts. I plan on bringing the whole family back next year. The runs are just as good as elsewhere, especially for beginners where you might get tired quicker, you're already at the lift for your rest to the top again. Plenty of variety, even for seasoned skiers. It's perfect.
