Amazing curriculum! My daughter started at Abacus when she was two years old and she was very apprehensive to attend. Although she is a very outgoing girl, she had a difficult experience at another local daycare just four months prior to starting at Abacus where she was coming home and throwing up every single day because of anxiety (we pulled her in less than two weeks attendance.) She had previously spent all my workweek getting taken care of by my mom. Once she started at Abacus (we do a M/W/F scheduled so my mom still get two days with her) she clearly enjoyed herself off the bat. She loves the food, the activities, her teachers, her friends and the specials. It is by far the best daycare/preschool we visited in the CP/Leander area (and we went on more than 10 tours!) They have fun theme weeks, an on-site pool (she did swimming lessons all of June!) and she brings home artwork and sings new songs all the time. I have no doubt that she is learning tons and that she feels safe, loved and happy there. I get updates on how she's doing on the parent app and pictures throughout the day. She's even picked up some Spanish. She is three years old now (four in October) and we will be keeping her at Abacus until she's enrolled in elementary. I would even consider enrolling her in the kindergarten program.

We absolutely love Abacus! Our daughter has grown so much since she started here in August. She loves school and I love the activities and enrichment they offer. I'm slightly jealous of the food she is served daily. There are festivals and luncheons and plenty of ways to get involved with the school. The app with daily updates and pictures is a bonus.
We absolutely love this school!! I physically visited at least 10 school, Abacus being the last one (they only did tours on 1 or 2 days a week) and immediately I knew it was the right place for us. They have the perfect balance of learning and play. The kids go to different classrooms for different subjects (prior to the current COVID pandemic we are experiencing). They have a pool, they have a field where they learn & play sports. They go on nature walks. My son is 4 and with help of about 4 #s, can count to 100. He‘s learned about planets... I can go on & on. His teachers in pre-school were Ms Lauren and Mr Julian & I feel truly grateful to have had them as his teachers. The director of the school Jacque does an amazing job of keeping the school running smoothly and flawlessly. They also do a great job communicating with the parents. Pre-COVID they even offered free educational classes for parents. We love it here so much that we will most likely have him attend kindergarten there even though he will be eligible to attend public schools for free (the public schools in our area are really good as well so he would attend 1st grade at a public school). Overall I cannot say enough good things about this school. And we feel very safe in sending our son there during this pandemic due to the appropriate measurements they have taken. Under normal circumstances they always almost have a waitlist so if you’re reading this post COVID, I’d definitely recommend visiting them first to get your chid’s name on the waitlist as soon as possible. Also, they were the only school I saw that had all 5 star reviews on both Google and Yelp & did not hear any negative feedback from other moms in Facebook mom groups.
I have a 6yr old and 3 yr old here. They both love it. SO much is provided with what you pay for. The value is awesome! GREAT staff. Jacque and Molly are the most approachable, open and understanding women to work with! Nothing is ever out of their league! Great choice of school. Highly recommend!
My son has been going here for over a year. The staff is excellent, great communication and a great sense of community amongst the other parents. I love that it’s clean and has a LOT of cool experiences to offer the kids.
