Very nice exhibition's I was very happy to have gotten the opportunity to go and see all of the history they had to offer.

I visited this museum today and was greeted by some very nice people. The museum had all sorts of different artifacts, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. My personal favorite was a little hallway with antiques from the Underground Railroad time period. You walk into a dark hallway with what looked like lightning bugs on the ceiling and hear crickets, as you begin to walk down the hallway a light clicks on and then you can read more about what you’re looking at. The museum is large which makes the 10 entry fee worth it. There were a lot of great things to see but the, “True-some Gruesome” facts they have posted throughout are what stands out so well. If you’re not too into reading at least read those. I definitely recommend checking this place out.

Interesting venue for local history lovers. A memorial hair wreath? Have never seen one until we visited here! FYI, entrance is behind the building. Also, once a month historical lunch may interfere with your visit if you don't plan around it. Interesting enough for me to buy an annual membership.

My kids learned a lot from the various exhibits. The Underground Railroad exhibit was very well made & the exhibit depicting the Women's Suffrage movement was descriptive.
