I was a little disappointed at post 145 by one of the first inlets. It appears one of the areas was used as a dumping ground for several deer, mostly doe ( probably road kill). The odor was so overwhelming, I'm confident other deer will not want to be in that facinity. Maybe the authority could at least dump some dirt on the doe and provide a more suitable burial, it will keep the odor down and not deter other deer or hunters. Otherwise areas distal from that seemed appropriate.

Small size State Game land along the PA Turnpike. A lot of highway noise depending on how close to the Turnpike or other roadways you hunt. I've discovered there are more deer here than you think but you will work to get them, especially with all the surrounding private land. You would do well hunting squirrel here. They keep cutting down more and more trees in this area which is a shame. I believe some of it is due to disease. Many people are reviewing this incorrectly as Governor Dick which is separate from this State Game land.
I liked govenor dick because you can get good exercise and you can see over alot of the mountain but it is a good amount of walking
Just out enjoying nature.
Any patch of woods is great!
