A picturesque dairy farm in the beautiful Berkshires that lets you say Hi to the cows and shop a variety of dairy products at the farm store. The homemade ice cream alone is worth the trip from Albany. TBH I'd drive all the way from Boston, Montreal or Manhattan for it, but that's just me. Pick a nice day to visit, so you can stroll the grounds and watch the herd grazing in the meadow. Wear a mask and social-distance in close quarters as appropriate, and you'll have a great time. Bring your appetite, your family, good mood, a camera, and be ready to fall in love with some beautiful and well cared for Jersey cows...and that ice cream! This was great! The ice cream was so yummy. We also purchased a small cheese plate to go and some blue cheese and they were all really good. After our ice cream we checked out the baby cows. This place was a big hit with the kiddos - did I mention the ice cream?
Stumbled upon this when searching for something unrelated. A great way to spend an hour or so. We saw the calf barn and the impressive milk barn! Afterwards, we stopped by the shop, where our kids enjoyed some incredible ice cream. We loved the cider donut ice cream especially which is a seasonal special. The cheese plate was perfect, the only thing missing was a glass of red wine. The gentleman at the shop also provided great recommendations with a friendly smile. Couldn’t recommend this more!
Amazing ice cream, views, and such a fun day seeing the cows. Would recommend to anyone in the area! Will definitely be back.
Dairy farm open to public for farm fresh milk and butter. We stopped in for ice cream and sat in the shade of the clock tower next to a field of Jersey cows. After finishing the ice cream, we walked into the facility and were able to pet the calves. Around the corner from the nursery was the maternity ward. You have to exit that area and walk down the driveway to get to the barn where the milking cows were staying. The scent was something that my children will never forget but so was the experience. Definitely would do again.
