I called the office and explained that I had an urgent problem, not an emergency , and needed to see a urologist in a reasonable time frame. I have been a practicing physician for 35years and I guess I'm a relic. You no longer can get a physician to come to the phone or call you back if you need to speak with them. The staff who are trained to handle scheduling the way the parent organization wants them to, handle everything. They are not doctors and don't know what should be seen ASAP or can wait. Dispite telling them my problem was urgent and I'm a doctor, they gave me an appointment for 3 months from now. Sad but true, doctors have become nothing more than employees and are no longer the caring health providers we grew up with. I have no idea how the physicians in this practice would react to my problem if I could get through this organizational wall to block care, but it doesn't seem to effect them how things are being done. I'm glad I retired since this way of practicing medicine would be repugnant to me, but I fear for all of us who need the care we deserve.

Dr Ballek is very kind. He goes out of his way to help me even when we are not sure what is wrong with me yet. I had a serious medical issue and he made a way to move up my apt to the next day. Plus I feel I get understanding. It's always nice she the doctor is nice and goes out of his way happily. This makes comfort and trust very good. Everyone in that office is very kind. So thank you guys.
This place has some of the worst health \professionals\ I have ever dealt with. The nurses argue with you about what has to be done and when I ask how soon I can come in for lab work they tell me I can go to Quest. I didn't call Quest I called you. I don't know if her name is Brandi or Mandi or what but she was very very rude and not sympathetic to my needs at all. Yes I know I need labs, yes I know I need prior auth for the procedure but you don't have to yell at me. If you didn't want to talk to me don't call me back. The last time I was here on March 19th I believe I waited for Dr. Ballek for 45 minutes in one of those little rooms and nobody ever came to check up on me. I'm sorry but my time is just as valuable as yours. I can't take off work until you feel like showing up. I really hate switching healthcare providers because you have to start the process from the beginning but I will never go back to this place. The 2 ladies in the front office are terrific but the rest of the staff is just worthless.
Dr. Ballac very good to deal with, Brandi is a top of the line nurse hoth in her capability and personality. But their Medical Assistant, Marie, is incompetent and has no personality. While inserting a Catheter, she panicked and ran out of the room for help. Later, she screamed at me on the phone DON'T LET HER TOUCH YOU!
After entrusting them to do a procedure on me, when I had complications afterward. They have ignored my phone calls and messages. I have never had a doctor's office treat me like this.
