I purchased a 35,000 Heartland Solarex from Heartland Tan and within a few years they stopped producing the beds, stopped service it, and didn’t even have parts for the bed which was literally falling apart. Furious, I vowed to never purchase equipment from Heartland again.(Especially their PURA Sunless Booth.) Last Spring, a Heartland sales rep walked into my salon with a Designer Skin Rep. wanting to regain my business. Within 3 months of foolishly rekindling my relationship with Heartland, I was told Greg Henson (owner of Heartland) signed the lease to open up a Planet Fitness a half a mile down the street from my salon and is including 11 A Month TANNING including a future PURA.. now COMPETING against my salon! WOW! I wonder if my invoices determined the next location for his gym/tanning salon !! I would have this company sign a Non-compete before doing business with them, and even then your at the mercy as to whether they decide to stop producing the equipment they are producing now. Greg has branched out with the largest Planet Fitness franchise group, including 65 locations across NINE STATES, COMPETING against tanning salons which fund Heartland Tan on a national level. If you choose to do business with this 'distributor' you are funding your own DEMISE. There are many other distributors that offer deep discounts that will not compete against their clients.
