Little did I know, this would become my passion and my lifetime career. With over 19 years of experience as a professional Northern Virginia photographer, I’ve had the pleasure of photographing well over 400 beautiful weddings throughout Northern Virginia and the DC metro area. I’ve shot thousands of corporate headshots for business professionals and personal headshots for social media sites. I’ve also enjoyed photographing corporate and family events and family and senior portraits. I have always had a passion for our four-legged friends and wherever possible I will encourage my clients to include their pets in a portrait session. Located in Leesburg Virginia, I regularly photograph my clients in Northern VA communities, such as Leesburg, Reston, Sterling, Tyson’s Corner, Arlington, Alexandria, Fairfax, McLean, Purcellville, Berryville, and Loudoun County Wineries as well as the Washington DC and metro area. Capturing Special Moments Today, more than being a Northern Virginia wedding photographer, I offer photographic services to address all requirements of my clients, many of whom engage me for a variety of corporate and family shoots. My client base is well established and most of my weddings are referrals from previous brides their bridesmaids or groomsmen. WEDDINGS Photography is my passion and I thoroughly enjoy what I do. As your local wedding photographer, I feel honored to be part of such a special day, I love the idea of “telling a story” as the day unfolds, the romance, the elegance and capturing the joy and emotion. I like to feel that anyone viewing the images after a wedding “feels” as though they were actually there and a part of the day. I always work with a second photographer and our goal is to capture every detail and moment as unobtrusively as possible. ENGAGEMENTS Engagement shoots should capture the excitement of this special occasion and clearly show the warmth and love shared by the couple. I encourage couples to include their pets in the session since we are very pet friendly HEADSHOTS There is most definitely an art to making the best possible image for headshots, no one should end up with passport or mug shot images! Lighting, posing and expression are critical. My experience in perfecting this has been achieved over many years and thousands of headshots, both corporate and personal. FAMILIES Family portrait sessions are always fun and can be small immediate family groups or extended families for special occasions. Composition of the various group shots I typically take are a key issue and getting everyone to look their best at the same moment is not always easy, especially if we have our pets included which I always encourage. These are very special photographs and I work very hard at getting the images you are hoping for. PETS As a proud supporter of the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) and Forever Home Rescue Foundation I really enjoy Pet photography. Usually I am working with dogs both large and small but I have also had the pleasure of pet photography for cats, rabbits, horses, lizards, Guinee pigs and a hamster.
