Went to the ATM- pretty sure it was out of cash. Sort of defeats the purpose. If I can’t access my money there is no point to banking here. So I’m not going to anymore. Old-school bank that is stuck in the past. But if I can’t get to my money when I absolutely need it, it’s gon be problems. Bye bye BB&T!

Absolutely Terrible! I had to go to the ATM over the weekend and the machine was malfunctioning. This isn't even the first time. I called the help line, thinking I had done something wrong, but even after my account was reset the machine still did not work. I think it's absolutely ridiculous that you cannot access your funds from a supposedly well established bank. We aren't living back in the 1800s. I had to drive to another town to find a working ATM machine. Apparently other locations can manage to have functioning machines, but the drive through in Leesburg is unreliable at best.
Drive up ATM consistently miscounts cash deposits. Complete waste of time. Attempts to contact the customer service number posted on the ATM were an exercise in futility.
I've been with BB&T for many years. I had a loan even, and I paid every payment on time. I've never had a problem until visiting this branch. Suddenly, I had ONE SINGLE DAY where there was a timing discrepancy with some payments and withdrawals, and I ended up getting a LOAD of overdraft fees, all in the same day, for a bunch of small transactions. The customer service reps at the counter don't even seem to know how to FAKE a smile, let alone actually smile. They don't seem to have any personality at all. They told me I had to come back on Monday (it was Saturday) because the people sitting right next to me with other customers \were already closed\ and couldn't handle taking care of my issue right now. I see. Well, I'm just going to go ahead and pull money from my PNC account, pay off my loan, and close my account. You've lost a customer.
I overdrafted 70 and spent 440 in fees. Wells Fargo doesn't do that, you only get fees for the actual items you overdraft on and not every single small pending transaction. And they will do nothing to help. Good bye BBT
